Power up your prescriptions

  • Brief

Almost half of the population (43%) are reliant on repeat prescriptions (Pharmacy2U, 2017). NHS data from May to Aug 2021 showed help with repeat prescriptions was one of the top reasons for people calling 111. Calls for urgent medication advice could almost be entirely avoided if people were better prepared for their ongoing medication needs by setting up a repeat prescription with their GP, over the phone or online.

  • Approach

The concept piggybacks on the audience’s generational dependency on their mobile phones.

In a content crazed world, millennials are all too aware of the low battery sign and most would take steps, daily, to avoid it. But the same doesn’t go for their prescription-based needs.

Through the gaming design application, we ask our audience to change their perspective. To take control of their prescriptions and therefore their health, like they control their phone. Our easy, step-by-step traffic light system uses the power of three to encourage our audience to experience life at full charge.
